Helena Cheng covers the market forces, narratives, and decisions that move prices, and the people and institutions behind them. She was most recently a financial journalist at Bloomberg News in New York, where she produced and wrote daily market coverage spanning global technology, equities, crypto, and ETFs.

Previously, she worked at ABC News, Fox News and CNBC, building a foundation in political coverage, live production, and fast-paced breaking news environments.

Beyond the newsroom, she serves as Director of Communications for the Asian American Journalists Association New York, leading outreach and fundraising initiatives to support and amplify AAPI voices in journalism.
