Discount grocer ALDI opening 800 more shops in the U.S.
Sure, inflation’s dropping like a hot potato, but that’s not stopping ALDI from cranking into hundreds of new stores in the country, mixing new shops in with conversions of Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets, both of which the company acquired this year. “This five-year expansion plan will bring even more communities great products at the lowest possible prices during a time when consumers are more focused than ever on saving money," said the company in a press release.
