Bloom Energy surges after topping expectations for sales, EPS
Here’s how the print looked at first glance.
Fuel cell-based power provider and momentum stock par excellence Bloom Energy reported its Q4 numbers after the close of trading on Thursday.
The company reported:
Q4 diluted adjusted earnings per share of $0.45 vs. the $0.31 expected by analysts, according to FactSet.
Revenue of $777.7 million vs. the $648.5 million consensus forecast.
Operating income of $87.5 million vs. the $61.9 million analysts had expected.
Bloom Energy has been on a remarkable run over the last year, rising over 400%, with the momentum building in the early days of 2026.
The shares were up roughly 94% year to date through Tuesday, but then the price tumbled about 20%.
Such swings are fairly common for the shares. Goldman Sachs includes Bloom Energy in its High Beta Momentum Long basket of themed stocks, which it describes as “highly reactive & tradable past winners” — that is, top performers over the last year.
