Guilty verdict sends Trump Media shares lower
Shares of Trump Media & Technology Group tumbled just over 13% after news broke that former President Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying records in his hush-money trial.
At one point, shares climbed all the way back to their closing level in the after-hours session, but have since returned to negative territory.
After leaving the courtroom, Trump called the trial a “disgrace” and “rigged.”
Trump Media, the parent company of Truth Social, has been losing a lot of money.
While Trump’s stock price might be going down, sure seems like his bond prices are probably looking up.
