The Disney, Hulu, Max bundle is more attractive to consumers than a Netflix subscription
It turns out that people like a lot of stuff for cheap. The churn rate for Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming bundle, which includes Disney+, Hulu, and Max for $16.99 a month with ads or $29.99 without, is lower than it is for Netflix, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Of those who signed up for the bundle between July and September last year, 80% were still subscribed three months later. Comparatively, 74% of Netflix subscribers held on that long, data from analytics firm Antenna shows.
The bundle represents a 43% discount to purchasing the three subscriptions separately. Netflix, meanwhile, costs $7.99 for its ad-supported tier and $17.99 for ad-free, and it only includes one streaming service.
