Pew: Americans, Italians are the most concerned about AI, while Israelis are the most excited
A new Pew Research Center survey found widespread concern about the use of AI in daily life.
A new Pew Research Center survey looked at attitudes towards AI in 25 countries. The results show a widespread concern about AI, with more respondents worried about the technology’s use in daily life than excited about the prospect of AI.
50% of both American and Italian survey respondents responded that they were “more concerned than excited” about the increased use of AI in daily life, while only 16% of South Koreans felt that way, for the lowest surveyed.
Israel — known for its robust tech industry — had the highest percentage of people who were “more excited than concerned,” while Canadians had the lowest at 9%.
