Rivian rips higher as Q4 sales beat expectations
Well, it looks like Tesla’s the only high-profile electric-vehicle maker that struggled in the fourth quarter.
Rivian reported that it delivered 14,183 vehicles in the final three months of 2024, besting the consensus estimate of 13,402.
Shares spiked as much as 6% higher in premarket trading.
Rivian joins Chinese electric-vehicle makers like BYD and Nio in posting better-than-expected Q4 deliveries — making Tesla’s underwhelming sales figures from yesterday stick out like a sore thumb.
