Tesla sales fall for sixth straight month in Denmark and Sweden, rise in Norway
Ahead of Tesla’s second-quarter delivery numbers tomorrow, sales stats for June, the final month of the quarter, are beginning to trickle in from Europe. So far, that’s meant year-over-year sales in Denmark and Sweden have declined (62% and 64%, respectively), marking the sixth straight month of declines in those countries.
Meanwhile, sales in Norway rose 54%, thanks largely to growth in Model Y registrations. Of course, those wild swings are a product of relatively small sales number denominators on the continent (i.e. Norway reported a hair over 5,000 Model Y registrations). Musk has said the company is struggling in Europe, calling it “our weakest market.”
