Tesla’s Q2 sales are starting off poorly in Europe
More monthly reports of Tesla sales are coming in from around Europe and they’re mostly pointing to more problems for the electric car company, which missed analysts’ lowered expectations last quarter thanks to an unprecedented decline in vehicle sales.
So far, Q2 is starting off much the same, with sales declining in the double digits across much of Europe in April 2025 compared with April 2024. Notably, sales grew double digits in Norway and Italy.
US data isn’t out yet but Tesla has already discounted its new Model Y, a move that suggests demand isn’t roaring.
