It’s a good day for private prisons, as Trump win drives a whole basket of stocks upward
Donald Trump’s presidential win is good news for some stocks. Some of the biggest movers today include Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, government-sponsored mortgage enterprises Trump plans to privatize; Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns the president-elect’s Truth Social; private prison companies GEO Group and CoreCivic; and Tesla, whose CEO Elon Musk has been backing Trump in hopes of cutting regulation that affects his companies.
